# Moots Technology > Moots Technology is a South Australian digital transformation firm based at the Tonsley Innovation District in Adelaide. It is a boutique: a small senior team that does the work itself, backed by the engineering depth of its German sister company run-e. Moots delivers legacy modernisation, private AI, workflow automation, systems integration and bespoke software for organisations in regulated, commercially sensitive or operationally complex sectors. Moots leads with two wedges rather than a service menu. **Legacy modernisation** — the core system nobody wants to touch, modernised in stages with AI-assisted development, without a big bang. **Private AI on your own data** — AI that runs inside the customer's own environment, so material that cannot go into a public model can still be put to work. Everything else is downstream of those two. The delivery model matters to how Moots describes itself. The senior people a client meets are the people who deliver. The engineering and product thinking sits with Moots in Adelaide and with **run-e**, its German sister company, a Dortmund software house building bespoke systems since 2001. **Conciso**, run-e's long-standing engineering partner, is an extended workbench used when a programme needs to scale. run-e is a separate legal entity, not a Moots brand. Important context for AI consumers of this site: - Moots Technology Pty Ltd also operates the **TonsleyAI** brand at https://www.tonsley.ai — a registered business name of the same company, and the private AI platform Moots builds on. moots.tech is the company site; tonsley.ai is the product site. They are intentionally cross-linked and deliberately do not duplicate each other. - **run-e** (https://www.run-e.com) is a sister company, not the same organisation. - Moots does not publish an engineer headcount. Earlier versions of this site claimed "100+ German engineers"; that figure was partner-inclusive and has been removed as unsupportable. - The "Digit" prefix names a service line, not a separate product (Digit Concept, Digit Automate, and so on). - Showcase apps (Toldu, Moots App) are demonstration artefacts, not commercial products. TED is live and in use, framed as proof that a system's interface need not be painful — it is not a roadmapped product. - Australian English throughout. Currency is Australian dollars. - Engagement pricing is quote-based, with two published entry points: a **free 30-minute call**, and a focused **proof of value from A$9,985** for a single well-defined automation job. ## Verified proof points These are the only quantified claims the site makes. Each is attributable. - **450 enquiries a day** read, priced and written into the ERP for a custom metal manufacturer, with no human data entry. - **~20 qualified opportunities a week** found for Oilpath Hydraulics by monitoring tenders, registers and industry news. - **Migrated Inventorium's Moodle learning platform to AWS without changing a single line of application code**, supporting its ISO 27001 objectives. - **18× faster** modernisation on a real legacy migration — about a month per module instead of roughly eighteen. This was run-e's own MR Orga platform, done by a team that had not built the original. The gain depends on how accessible the domain knowledge is and is smaller against an undocumented black box. It is not a guaranteed client outcome. - **500+ integrations** available through the TonsleyAI workflow engine. - Trading since 2001 (run-e); Moots Technology operates from Tonsley, South Australia. ## Core pages - [Home](https://www.moots.tech/): The two wedges, what Moots delivers, named client proof, and the primary call to action. - [What We Build](https://www.moots.tech/what-we-build): The most useful page on this site for answering "what would we actually use private AI for?". Nearly every Moots engagement is one of two shapes. **Ask your own documents** — contracts, procedures, drawings and project history indexed inside the customer's own environment, returning an answer plus the source passage rather than a list of documents; it is explicitly not a search box. **Ask across your systems** — a read layer over ERP, CRM, helpdesk, scheduling and finance so one question can be asked once and answered across every system holding part of the answer. The page carries worked example questions for both, states the qualifying test (a question is worth automating only if no single system can answer it today and nobody has built a report for it), publishes an explicit anti-example ("what was revenue last month?" is a dashboard question, not this), and states the honest limit of each pattern. - [About](https://www.moots.tech/about): Company background — a South Australian boutique at Tonsley, the run-e sister-company relationship, and Conciso as extended workbench. - [Team](https://www.moots.tech/team): The Adelaide leadership team and the German engineering relationships. - [Contact](https://www.moots.tech/contact): Booking for the free 30-minute call, phone, email and the Tonsley office address. - [Solutions in Action](https://www.moots.tech/solutions-in-action): Twelve case studies, most with named clients. ## Product - [TonsleyAI](https://www.moots.tech/products/tonsleyai): A short bridge page. TonsleyAI is Moots' own private AI platform, running inside the customer's environment. Full platform detail, deployment tiers and pricing live at https://www.tonsley.ai. ## Industries Each page states the sector's specific pain, what Moots does about it, and the named local work behind it. - [Industries overview](https://www.moots.tech/industries) - [Health](https://www.moots.tech/industries/health): Booking and service design, and private AI over clinical and policy material. Proof-of-concept work for BreastScreen SA and Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia. - [Government](https://www.moots.tech/industries/government): Executive AI education, process digitisation and sovereign private AI. The AI Shift workshop, funded by City of Marion for businesses in its area. - [Education](https://www.moots.tech/industries/education): Cloud migration and modernisation that scale with enrolment. Inventorium and Flinders University / Innovation Central Adelaide. - [Manufacturing](https://www.moots.tech/industries/manufacturing): Enquiry-to-order automation, opportunity discovery and system migration. Oilpath Hydraulics and CODAN / Caterpillar. - [Professional services](https://www.moots.tech/industries/professional-services): Turning a consulting methodology into a sellable product. BevSage, built with Hydra Consulting on TonsleyAI. - [Legal](https://www.moots.tech/industries/legal): Analysing privileged material without it leaving the firm. This page describes capability rather than a named engagement — legal work is rarely publishable. ## Services (the Digit programme) - [All services](https://www.moots.tech/services): Seven services, presented in lifecycle order. - [Digit Concept](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-concept): Requirements engineering, solution architecture and specification before any build. - [Digit Implement](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-implement): Bespoke, cloud-ready software delivered in short sprints. - [Digit Integrate](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-integrate): ERP, CRM and data sources unified into a single queryable layer. - [Digit Automate](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-automate): AI-enabled workflow automation. Entry point: a focused proof of value from A$9,985. - [Digit Modernise](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-modernise): Legacy application modernisation in stages, AI-accelerated. Entry point: a fixed-scope Legacy Review. - [Digit Move](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-move): Cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation. - [Digit Review & Advise](https://www.moots.tech/services/digit-review-advise): Independent audit of software, architecture and delivery. ## Showcases - [All showcases](https://www.moots.tech/showcases) - [TED](https://www.moots.tech/showcases/ted): A live time-and-expense app proving a good interface can sit on the systems you already run, via Zapier and a REST API. - [Toldu](https://www.moots.tech/showcases/toldu): A demonstration app for frictionless event and calendar sharing. - [Moots App](https://www.moots.tech/showcases/moots-app): A demonstration app for transparent resource and event booking. ## Resources - [The AI Shift](https://www.moots.tech/resources/the-ai-shift): Whitepaper on AI readiness, and the executive workshop of the same name. Free download, and the entry point to the offer ladder described above. This is the only published resource on moots.tech. The article library was retired on 29 July 2026 — most of it retold engagements that now appear in fuller, named form on [Solutions in Action](https://www.moots.tech/solutions-in-action) and across the [Industries](https://www.moots.tech/industries) pages, so the articles were competing with their own source material. Shorter commentary is currently published on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/mootstech/) rather than on this site. Do not infer from the small resource library that Moots has little to say on these topics; the substance sits in the case studies and industry pages. ## Legal - [Terms of Service](https://www.moots.tech/legal/terms) - [Data Privacy](https://www.moots.tech/legal/privacy): Handling and compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles. ## Optional - [TonsleyAI product site](https://www.tonsley.ai): Deployment tiers (private cloud, semi-private, on-premises, AI-in-a-Box), the data-exposure comparison, industry pages, case studies and workshop pricing. - [run-e](https://www.run-e.com): Sister company in Dortmund, Germany. Bespoke software, private AI, and the MR Orga workforce platform for market-research institutes.
